چکیده

It is shown that every asymptotically controllable system can be stabilized by means of some (discontinuous) feedback law. One of the contributions of the paper is in deening precisely the meaning of stabilization when the feedback rule is not continuous.

Asymptotic Controllability and Exponential Stabilization of Nonlinear Control Systems at Singular Points

We discuss the relation between exponential stabilization and asymptotic controllability of nonlinear control systems with constrained control range at singular points. Using a discounted optimal control approach, we construct discrete feedback laws minimizing the Lyapunov exponent of the linearization. Thus we obtain an equivalence result between uniform exponential controllability and uniform...

Revised Version of Feedback Stabilization of Discrete-time Homogeneous Semi-linear Systems Scl 97-157 ?

For discrete-time semi-linear systems satisfying an accessibility condition asymptotic null controllability is equivalent to exponential feedback sta-bilizability using a piecewise constant feedback. A constructive procedure that yields such a feedback is presented.

Mean-Field Controllability and Decentralized Stabilization of Markov Chains, Part II: Asymptotic Controllability and Polynomial Feedbacks

This paper, the second of a two-part series, presents a method for mean-field feedback stabilization of a swarm of agents on a finite state space whose time evolution is modeled as a continuous time Markov chain (CTMC). The resulting (mean-field) control problem is that of controlling a nonlinear system with desired global stability properties. We first prove that any probability distribution w...

Asymptotic controllability implies continuous-discrete time feedback stabilizability

In this paper, the relation between asymptotic controllability and feedback stabilizability of general nonlinear systems is investigated. It is proved that asymptotic controllability implies for any strictly positive sampling period of a stabilizing feedback in a continuous-discrete time framework. The proof uses receding horizon considerations to construct a stabilizing feedback.

Controllability and asymptotic stabilization of the Camassa-Holm equation

We investigate the problems of exact controllability and asymptotic stabilization of the Camassa-Holm equation in the circle, by means of a distributed control. The results are global, and in particular the control prevents the solution from blowing up.
